Just a little peek at STOP! COLLABORATE!

Opens Thursday August 13th, 6 - 9 PM during the West Seattle Art Walk!

Each participating artist contributed one of their own "completed" pieces. After drawing names from a hat, another artist from the group then took the once completed piece to expand on it. You ask "..but, but will they respect the work of the other artist? Is this normal?" The answer is, "who knows".

"STOP! COLLABORATE!"

OPENING: Thursday August 13th, 6 - 9 PM during the West Seattle Art Walk!

Featuring: Eric Osborne, Matt Calcavecchia, Nate Stottrup, Marty Gordon, Stefan Caswell, Mara Rivet, Justin Hillgrove, Jessalin Beutler, Mark Gunderson, David Enriquez, Brad, Strain, Clare Bowers, John Osgood, Debbie Bianchi, Stephanie Doll and Todd Karam.

The first annual "Stop! Collaborate!" show, curated by local artist Todd Karam. This is one-of-a-kind opportunity where 16 artists from Washington and California collaborated with each other. Of course there's a twist. Each participating artist contributed one of their own "completed" pieces. After drawing names from a hat, another artist from the group then took the once completed piece to expand on it. You ask "..but, but will they respect the work of the other artist? Is this normal?" The answer is, "who knows." Slide, roll, dance, jiggy, jump, run, skip, breakdance, moonwalk your way to Twilight in West Seattle. Whatever you do, don't miss this one-of-a-kind show!

Erik Chillman and dj Joel Dipietro will be spinning during the opening so bring your dancing shoes and props, if you plan on becoming more than a spectator. Dance music, and old hiphop/funk party stuff! Spectators welcome, the spectacle needs it's muse!

go to CHINA with KELLY LYLES! We're not joking.

Get connected to China's thriving Contemporary Art Scene, September 18-29th. Kelly Lyles will be taking 24 artists (or arts appreciators) to Beijing, Shanghai, Zhouzhuang, and Hangzhou, on a VIP networking trip to meet our Chinese Peers (artists and curators). We'll visit galleries, Museum, art academies and residencies, and of course all the spectacular historical sights of the world's largest country, Forbidden City, Great Wall, etc, w/ VIP treatment entire time, since we're actually guests of the Chinese Government. No waiting in lines, we're guests of honour at Banquets. This is through 'World Trade Exchange', by invitation of the Chinese government, so it's a resume builder as well as educational (& of course FUN!). Everyone who's come with WTE (including Arts commission & Archie Bray Foundation) has said "life-changing". There's many testimonials on their website...

Intership available @ Twilight

Twilight Artist Collective needs some extra hands!
We are looking for some good people to help us with some or all of the following:
~Working in one of our two galleries on Tuesdays and/or Sundays.
~Attending and assisting with our second Thursday openings, which take place during the second Thursday of each month from 6-9PM in West Seattle.
~Participate in quarterly brain hurricanes where we get together with like-minded galleries (bherd, suite100, La Familia) to strategize.
~We would also be willing to give web management, marketing, funding and outreach experience to interested candidates.

An ideal Twilight intern has; a true passion for the funky, urban eclectic art scene here in Seattle, is self-motivated, articulate, charismatic and most importantly, fun. This is not a paid internship.
